The Wieliczka Salt Mine offers chambers of various sizes, suitable for civil, Protestant, and Catholic weddings. The banquet halls host various types of parties, from intimate dinners for a dozen or so people to wedding receptions for several hundred guests.
Each of the chambers in the mine is unique, mainly due to the specificity of the place – a combination of history and modernity.

Michałowice Chamber
The immense 35-meter-tall chamber came into existence during the late 17th and early 18th centuries following the extraction of a block of green salt. The awe-inspiring structure, crafted from wooden logs by the miners to safeguard the chamber, captivates with its remarkable precision.

Jan Haluszka I Chamber
The breathtaking Jan Haluszka Chamber is one of the halls that is most commonly used for wedding receptions. You’ll be mesmerized by the salted ceiling that rises over 13 meters in height and the salt walls that are lit by crystal chandeliers. The uneven form of the walls and ceiling is reminiscent of the party’s one-of-a-kind setting, 135 meters underground yet so close to nature.

Jan Haluszka II Chamber
A petite chamber where the mine’s innate beauty harmonizes with a warm, wooden decor. The sculptures, hewn from authentic salt, imbue it with unique character and appeal.

Drozdowice III Chamber
The chamber’s name pays homage to Aleksander Drozdowski, the burgrave of Krakow. Inside, a remarkable structure crafted from white wooden logs stands out, creating a distinctive ambiance when paired with the gray salt walls.

Warszawa Chamber
This expansive chamber was carved out after extracting 20,000 tons of salt, showcasing a monumental relief sculpted by miner-artisans on one of its salt walls. Known for its exceptional acoustics, the chamber offers a unique and atmospheric experience.

If the number of guests at the wedding reception ranges between 200 and 400, the price will be adjusted accordingly.
St. Kinga’s Chapel
The chapel delights with its space and decoration made entirely of salt. It is the most magnificent and richest temple in the Wieliczka Salt Mine. Its décor was created almost a hundred years ago by talented sculptor miners. The crystal chandeliers, the beautiful salt floor and hundreds of details, each of which is a small work of art, complete the ambiance of this place. Weddings in the chapel take place after the last group of visitors has completed their tour of the mine, which is typically around 8:30 PM.
